Considering Baptism
For many baptism is a quasi-religious, cultural, ritualistic formality, but we need a broader, richer understanding from scripture and history so that we can learn to see baptism as a time of renewal, meaning and growth, an act rich in spiritual power and daily living.
Every year we have a baptism service at our Christmas service in December and at the end of the year Spring Picnic at Lake Padden in June. If you want to participate in this year's baptism service, we ask that you attend a one-time baptism class offered in Fall and Spring (If you are unable to attend the class, please talk to Dave or Derrick about listening to the class online as a substitute) and fill out an application, so we can learn a little more about you.
If you have questions about baptism please to find out more.
